Kwitne Queer
The Kwitne Queer initiative began in December 2022 when Ukrainian activists decided to form a team and create the first independent Ukrainian LGBT community in Germany and were the first oficcialy registered organization of Ukrainian LGBTIQ+ refugees in Germany.
Since then, we have been tirelessly working on a volunteer basis to strengthen, expand, and support Ukrainian queers in Germany.
In August 2024, Kwitne Queer e.V. officially gained nonprofit status and became a member of the Allianz Ukrainischer Organisationen.
Our mission
The mission of Kwitne Queer e.V. is to ensure equal opportunities, support, and inclusion for queer Ukrainians in Germany, as well as to promote their social life and collaboration. We are an independent organization that unites like-minded individuals and upholds the values of equality and mutual understanding.

Creative workshops, board games, music evenings, queer-tango, discussions on important topics, training sessions, cuddle sessions, celebrations, and more.
